She began her musical studies with Ludmila Kotnauerov\u00e1 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zcu.cz\/en\/\">Western Bohemian University in Pilsen<\/a> (2003 graduate). In 2002, she was awarded Second Prize at the <em>Leo\u0161 Jan\u00e1\u010dek International Competition in Brno<\/em> and the <em>Bohuslav Martin\u016f Special Award<\/em>. She further pursued her singing studies at the <a href=\"http:\/\/english.jamu.cz\/\">Jan\u00e1\u010dek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno<\/a> (Marta Be\u0148a\u010dkov\u00e1 class, 2006). In June 2008, Dagmar \u0160a\u0161kov\u00e1 brought her studies in baroque vocal technique to a brilliant close at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmbv.fr\/\">Versailles Baroque Music Centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dagmar \u0160a\u0161kov\u00e1 frequently performs at concerts with orchestras such as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmbv.fr\/\">Versailles Baroque Music Centre<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.akademia.fr\/\">Akad\u00eamia<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ensemblecorrespondances.com\/\">Correspondances<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ensembleilfestino.com\/\">Il Festino<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ensemblelafenice.com\/\">La Fenice<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ensemblelareveuse.com\/\">La R\u00eaveuse<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.concert-brise.eu\/\">Le Concert bris\u00e9<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lespaladins.com\/\">Les Paladins<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ensemblepygmalion.com\/#!accueil-en\/cdqy\">Pygmalion<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poemeharmonique.fr\/\">Le Po\u00e8me Harmonique<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sagittarius.fr\/\">Sagittarius<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/musicaflorea.cz\/?lng=en\">Musica Florea<\/a>. She took part in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dagmarsaskova.com\/en\/discography\/\">recordings<\/a> of Marc Antoine Charpentier\u2019s <em>Sacred Stories<\/em> and Pierre Robert\u2019s <em>Grands Motets<\/em> with the Versailles Baroque Music Centre conducted by Olivier Schneebeli, as well as in the extracts from <em>Opella Nova<\/em> and <em>Israelis Br\u00fcnnlein<\/em> by Johann Hermann Schein with the Sagittarius orchestra conducted by Michel Lapl\u00e9nie. She also recorded Dietrich Buxtehude\u2019s <em>Cantatas for soprano<\/em> with Le Concert bris\u00e9 conducted by William Dongois, the <em>Italian Aria from the Time of Louis 13th of France<\/em> and <em>Arie da cantarsi<\/em> of Stefano Landi with the Il Festino orchestra (Manuel de Grange), and finally Johann Sebastian Bach\u2019s <em>B-Minor Mass<\/em> with the Pygmalion orchestra conducted by Rapha\u00ebl Pichon. More recent contributions to her discography include <em>The Royal Night Concert<\/em> with the orchestra Les Correspondances (S\u00e9bastien Dauc\u00e8), <em>Natale in Italia<\/em> with La Fenice (Jean Tub\u00e9ry), the motets <em>La Majest\u00e9<\/em> of Lalande with Le po\u00e8me harmonique orchestra conducted by Vincent Dumestre, and finally Michel Lambert\u2019s and S\u00e9bastien Le Camus\u2019 <em>Douce F\u00e9licit\u00e9<\/em> as well the duos <em>Donna<\/em> by Monteverdi, both with the Il Festino orchestra (Manuel de Grange).<\/p>\n<p>In 2010, Dagmar \u0160a\u0161kov\u00e1 performed as Corisande in Jean-Baptiste Lully\u2019s <em>Amadis<\/em> opera in a coproduction between the Versailles Baroque Music Centre and the Avignon Theatre (direction Olivier Schneebeli) (Avignon and Massy Opera Houses). In 2011, with Musica Florea of Marek \u0160tryncl, she sang the role of Apollo in George Friedrich H\u00e4ndel\u2019s <em>Terpsicore<\/em> in baroque theatres of \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov and Mnichovo Hradi\u0161t\u011b in the Czech Republic. She also performed as Moschino, Ninfa, Rubani\u00e8re, and Fleure in <em>L\u2019Egisto<\/em> of Marco Marazzoli et Virgilio Mazzocchi conducted by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Correas (Les Palladins) at the Massy Opera House and in the Theatre l\u2019Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e in Paris, in Cergy-Pontoise, \u2026 In 2013, she sang Melanto in <em>Ritorno d\u2019Ulysse in patria<\/em> by Claudio Monteverdi conducted by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Correas (Les Palladins) (Massy, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre G\u00e9rard-Philipe Saint-Denis, Reims, Nice, Saint-Quentin en Yvelines, \u2026). She then left for New Delhi to sing Ninfa in Claudio Monteverdi\u2019s <em>L\u2019Orfeo<\/em> by Akad\u00eamia conducted by Fran\u00e7oise Lasserre (also Cit\u00e9 de la Musique in Paris). In 2014, with the orchestra La Fenice of Jean Tub\u00e9ry, Dagmar \u0160a\u0161kov\u00e1 interpreted the title role of Dido in Henry Purcell\u2019s <em>Dido and Aeneas<\/em> in Lyon and in Uz\u00e8s (concert version). In 2016, she left for a tour in South Korea where she sang the role of Judith in Marc Antoine Charpentier\u2019s Sacred Stories accompanied by the Versailles Baroque Music Centre (direction Olivier Schneebeli, stage manager Ana Yepes). On the tour of the <em>Orfeo par-del\u00e0 le Gange<\/em> in 2016 in France, she sang la Musica and la Messagiera on the stage of Arsenal in Metz and in the Reims opera. She has interpreted five roles in the <em>L&#8217;Europe Galante<\/em> of Andr\u00e9 Campra in the Wienerkonzerthaus in Vienna in 2018, with La Simphonie du Marais orchestra of Hugo Reyne. She sang Aurora in the <em>Il mondo alla roversa<\/em> opera of Baldassare Galuppi in the Grand Avignon opera and in the Philharmony of Paris, with the Akad\u00eamia orchestra conducted by Fran\u00e7oise Lasserre.<\/p>\n<p>Dagmar \u0160a\u0161kov\u00e1 occasionally performs with other Czech artists as well, for example the organist Kate\u0159ina Chrobokov\u00e1 with whom she has been giving regular recitals of baroque music.
